David set up Southgate Consulting in 1999 having spent 13 years previously in Executive Search both within Automotive and blue chip FMCG sectors. An expert recruiter, the automotive sector is his passion and since the launch date of Southgate Consulting the business has striven to offer the very best client and candidate service levels. With an impressive client portfolio, vacancy fulfilment has covered all disciplines from Managing Director level downwards.
Southgate Consulting has a reputation of offering fair and consultative advice based on knowledge gained from working on assignments in every facet of the industry, but David has always kept the business small and very customer focussed enabling a truly personal customer service. Callum is the latest addition to Southgate Consulting, but has over 5 years in recruitment within IT and Automotive. Working now on Executive Search, business development and account management to assist with all clients and candidate’s needs.
During his time he has been personally responsible for successful placements at director level through to middle management, on both permanent and contract markets in the UK and internationally, across unicorn start-ups and globally recognised companies. Away from recruitment Callum enjoys walks, cycling, eating out and socialising.
